We help students and their families learn more about the private school landscape and what to expect. We help them prepare and navigate each step of the complex admissions process. While we primarily help students considering Middle School and High School, we also help students applying to other grades if needed.

Right Fit Services Include:
General Education Consulting for all grade levels on schools and extracurricular activities including STEAM, art, music, sports, and hobbies.
Early Admissions Process Orientation for families with 4th and 7th graders who want to know what to expect and how best to prepare.
For 5th & 8th Grade Families
Weekly Email Reminders: We send these throughout the admissions process to keep you on track and prevent you from ever missing a critical deadline.
Orientation Meeting: We meet with student and parents to fully flush out and understand education history, interests, family goals and what makes your student special. At the end of this meeting, you will have a "Right Fit Student Map" and a lot of comfort in how we will approach the process.
School List: Creating an initial school list providing target, reach and safety schools to find that "Right Fit"!
Test Prep: Strategizing a standardized test prep and test taking plan.
Action Plan: We will set up a manageable timeline and action plan.
New Writing Test: Discussion and plans around the new Writing Test.
Open House Visits: Coaching parents and students on how to optimize their Open House visits and how to have FUN with them!
Application and Essay Writing: Reviewing parent and student application answers to make sure the voice and strengths of your student comes through! We do not outline or write essays for applicants or parents.
Applications: Counseling around other pieces of the application including art, music, sports, and other submissions.
Campus Visits: Coaching students and parents around campus visits, activity sessions and interviews so that there are no surprises and less stress.
Recommendation Forms: We help coordinate teacher recommendation forms.
Reviewing Final Checklist: We make sure we have put together the best possible application package for your family.
Step-by-Step Counseling: Accessible, responsive attention whenever needed.
General Information
Most clients participate in all services, but if you feel you only need a particular service, we are happy to help you with just that portion of the process.
For essay review services only, from December 10 - January 10, fees increase due to the volume of work as deadlines approach. Our goal is to help you complete all application answers by Thanksgiving.
Most meetings take place via Zoom.
